Ready to climb?

At the end of the level, a 5-minute check: 10 letters from across the weeks. You point, your child says, you tick. 8 or more and they climb to Level 2 with a certificate. Fewer, and you know exactly which weeks to revisit.

I can statements

By the end, your child can say

  • I can name all 28 letters
  • I can say the sound each letter makes
  • I can find a letter among other letters
  • I can trace each letter on its own
  • I know one word that starts with each letter
